Westwood Park Plan: Open discussion with Westwood Parish Council

*** There’s still time to submit your ideas! Open to all! ***

Westwood Parish Council was here at Wildflower Café on Monday 15th June, exploring ideas with an open discussion for the five-year plan for Westwood Park and they need your help.

What would you like to see?

Potential Ideas:

Biodiversity boosters: Wildflower beds, formal beds, climbing roses, additional fruit trees, pond(s), bug hotels, breeding boxes, rain-water capture systems.

Activities: Fitness equipment, kids’ bike track, boules/racket courts.

Amenities: Solar lighting, bike racks, bus shelter improvements.

  • all ideas will need to be safe, climate-resilient and inclusive for all ages, as well as subject to funding, scale & approvals.

📧 Couldn’t make it? Or you’ve thought of something else you’d like to add to the discussion?

Email your ideas to Paul Jupp and Rupert Baller.
