Wildflower Café is brought to Upper Westwood by Paul and Loulou.
Here’s a little bit of our story…
Back in 2011, Paul launched our Community Interest Company
“Meadow in my Garden”.
We’ve travelled all over, evangelising for nature, working with community groups, giving talks at clubs and garden shows, whilst selling flower seeds.
Over more than a decade our work has evolved but a mission to actively engage and support the community in local biodiversity projects has always remained at its core.
In 2024, we started to hanker after a base:
A space for everyone to share ideas and to take positive steps to enhance wildlife habitats.
We noticed this little park building in Upper Westwood, close to our home.
Long empty and in need of a purpose… and so we began to dream.
With the warmth and enthusiasm of local residents and the dynamic support of Westwood Parish Council, a vision has been taking shape.
Fast forward to today and we have been joined by some wonderful and talented friends and neighbours, preparing to launch a café, garden and community space in spring 2026.
Alongside our vibrant neighbourhood café hub and a garden filled with vegetables and flowers, we envisage space for craft groups and outdoor nature activities to celebrate the seasons.
We will run themed supper clubs and will cater for private functions from our café kitchen.
Together we hope to create a beautiful community hub that is buzzing with life.
